I was so thrilled and delighted to have met Jason Momoa at Florida Supercon yesterday and was able to have three interactions with him. Now I can say from first hand experience how charming, friendly, and down to earth Jason was. Such a wonderful person and even mentioned the fan site to him and he seemed quite happy and appreciative of all his support from his fans!  I will post the videos and images soon and can’t wait to share with everyone!

With roles in HBO‘s hit “Game Of Thrones,” Sundance Channel‘s acclaimed “The Red Road,” having been chosen to play “Conan The Barbarian,” and an upcoming expected part in the highly anticipated “Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice,” there have been no shortage of opportunities for Jason Momoa. But the actor clearly has aspirations to tell his own stories, and experience moviemaking from behind the camera as well. He does just that with “Road To Paloma,” co-writing, directing and starring in the film. And today, we have an extensive look at the moody picture he’s put together.

Co-starring Lisa Bonet, Sarah Shahi, Wes Studi and many more, the movie tells the story of Wolf, a Native American man who goes on the run after killing the man who murdered his mother. It’ll be a journey of redemption and justice, with this lengthy clip from “Road To Paloma” highlighting the tenor the tale is presented in by Momoa, along with a quick trailer providing an overview of the feature-length film.

“Road To Paloma” opens in limited release on July 11th, and hits VOD and home video on July 15th.

Report: Jason Momoa Will Play Aquaman in Batman v Superman and Justice League

Arthur Curry, your time has come.

After a lot of back and forth — going back many months — about whether Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) would play Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it now looks like the actor will indeed be putting on the green and orange outfit of Arthur Curry.

Hitfix’s Drew McWeeney is reporting the news, noting that while Warner Bros. haven’t made the official announcement, Hitfix “can confirm that he will be playing the part, and that Zack Snyder has already finalized his designs for the character so shooting can take place soon.”

Rumors about Momoa playing Aquaman began last year, but he’d downplayed or outright denied them previously. In fact, when IGN’s Roth Cornet spoke to the actor in January, he said, “It’s just rumors. I want to say something amazing, but I can’t comment on rumors. It’s flattering.” Momoa than more definitively added, “I’m not involved in it.” Indeed, Momoa has continued to deny he was playing Aquaman as recently as last month.

Perhaps at the time IGN spoke to him, Momoa was still in the negotiation stage, and no doubt he’s been sworn to secrecy, even as things were solidified, but McWeeney — who is a proven, trusted source — now says his involvement is a done deal, and that it will, not shockingly, lead to a bigger role in the Justice League film.
