Jason last month attended the Gary Clark Jr. In Concert – West Hollywood, CA and sorry for not posting it sooner.

 

Cult television stars Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones), Yeardley Smith (Lisa Simpson) and Aliens star Lance Henrickson are heading to New Zealand for the Armageddon Expo.

Momoa portrays Dothraki leader Khal Drogo in HBO’s epic fantasy series, and has also starred in Conan the Barbarian, Stargate: Atlantis and Sylvester Stallone movie Bullet to the Head.

He will be attending the Hamilton and Wellington legs of the Armageddon Expo on May 25 – 26 and June 1 – 3 respectively.

Jason Momoa burst onto the Hollywood scene in the “Conan the Barbarian” remake, “Game of Thrones” and the recent Stallone flick “Bullet to the Head,” where he presumably tries to avoid receiving a “bullet to the head” from Stallone (unless the title has a metaphorical meaning, which I tend to doubt). Not sure if he did or did not succeed in doing that, but what I do know is that Momoa looks like a human you don’t necessarily want to f**k with. Like Mark Vincent, Momoa seems to spend the entire movie in tank tops, because like a tee shirt can do these ‘ceps any justice lol. I get it, Jase. I get it.

I couldn’t have agreed more, ‘Stargate Atlantis’ was an amazing series with Jason in the show.

 

Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis ended a long time ago, leaving us with only fond memories of Rodney McKay, Daniel Jackson, Samantha Carter, John Sheppard, Teal’c, Teyla Emmagan and Ronon Dex.

Sometimes one can’t help but pine for the good old days of classic science fiction TV, when Stargate, Star Trek and Babylon 5 ruled the air. But we digress. Stargate – as a franchise – is currently off the air. Gone, but not forgotten, especially in the case of Atlantis which ended after only five seasons.

Recently, Atlantis writer Joseph Mallozi revealed a number of details about a sixth season on his blog. According to the scribe, the season premiere (or movie) would have kicked off on the moon.

“We learn that the gate has been offline since its return to Earth but, under pressure from the IOA, the decision is made to bring it back online, have it supersede the Earth gate, and make it a permanent lunar base. The decision isn’t embraced by everyone. Woolsey and McKay, for instance, point out that they still have a responsibility to the people of the Pegasus galaxy. Of course the IOA are hardly moved,” Mallozi wrote.
